parent company of Afton Chemical Corporation and Ethyl
Corporation. Afton Chemical develops and manufactures
petroleum additives that enhance the performance of
lubricating oils and fuels. From custom-formulated chemical
blends to market-general additive components, Afton helps
fuels burn cleaner, engines run smoother, and machines last
longer. Afton markets two product lines, lubricant additives
and fuel additives. .

Ethyl Corporation manufactures diesel cetane improver and
gasoline performance additives, and provides terminal
storage and distribution services as well. Ethyl also has a
significant interest in the tetraethyl lead business through
marketing agreements with Associated Octel Company Limited,
which generates strong cash flow for the company.
