About Joel Arberman:

In 1993, Mr. Arberman began his career at First Investors Management Corporation, where he was responsible for evaluating investment grade corporate bonds for portfolio managers with over $500 million in assets.

In 1994, Mr. Arberman joined SunAmerica Asset Management where he was responsible for evaluating high-technology investment opportunities for portfolio managers with over $2 billion in assets. With a focus on small capitalization equities, he engaged in proprietary research and analysis to identify companies whose shares were undervalued. His average recommendation increased by more than 30%. In a 1995 Wall Street Journal Dartboard competition, his stock recommendation outperformed the dartboard selection and those of his competitors.

In 1995, Mr. Arberman was recruited to become the first American to join investment-banking firm Yorkton Securities in Toronto, Canada. He was a Research Analyst and the youngest Partner of the $240 million revenue and 700 person investment banking firm (2000). Mr. Arberman spent considerable time evaluating private and public companies for corporate finance and merger/acquisition purposes.
